The idea for this Guitar t-shirt design came at the same time as design number 6. I guess there were a few leftover puns that I saved for future use, this was one of them, “Bluesman’s Tombstone – I didn’t wake up this morning”. Yeah, I know, It’s not hilarious, but it’s pretty funny.
What you have to keep in mind when you’re designing Tees is that you can’t absolutely love every single design you create. I have my favourites, just like I have my favourite Guitars. Some of my designs that I myself have been a little critical about – other people tell me that they really love them.
I love churning out design after design. I guess I love the creative process. It’s the same when I compose Guitar music. But I would have to say that it’s the finishing of whatever I’m currently working on that gives me the most satisfaction, it means it’s time to start something new and fresh.
Anyway, let me get back to talking about this design. In one of my previous posts, I told you all about my skull obsession, that’s probably why there’s another one in this design. Yes, that’s right, another skull. What’s with all the skulls dude?
I guess you’re just going to have to get use to the fact that skulls may just happen to find their way into many of my designs. But seriously, I do try to keep them out a lot of the time. And if you take a good look at all of my designs, you’ll notice that there are quite a few t-shirt designs without skulls.
This, however, is not one of them. No folks, this Guitar tee has a beautiful, scary, 3D statue skull on the top of a tombstone, and a nice bluesy looking strat Guitar. Let’s not forget the cool looking crows, and how one of them is resting his beak on the Guitar’s headstock. A nice touch? I think so.
